Privacy policy
Your closet stays on your phone. Here is exactly what Drape does with your data, and the one thing it sends out.
Summary
- No account. No analytics. No ads. No third-party SDKs.
- Your wardrobe photos, cutouts, outfits and packing lists are stored and processed on your iPhone. We never receive them.
- To show the weather, Drape sends an approximate location to MET Norway’s free weather service. Drape makes no other network calls.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. We do not see your payment details.
What stays on your device
Everything you put into Drape stays in the app’s storage on your iPhone:
- photos you take of garments, and the cutouts Drape makes from them;
- names, tags, prices and brands you add to items;
- outfits (“scoops”) you plan for each day, and how often you wear each piece;
- packing lists and cost-per-wear figures;
- what the home-screen widget shows, which it reads from the app on the same phone.
Kebzi Haus has no server for Drape and no copy of any of this. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, Apple’s backup may include Drape’s data, under your own Apple settings.
Permissions and why
Camera
To photograph garments. The photo is processed on your iPhone to cut the garment out. It is not uploaded.
Photos (add only)
Only to save an image you choose to your photo library. Drape asks for add-only access, so it cannot read or browse your existing photos.
Location (approximate)
To get the forecast for the cones. Drape asks for reduced-accuracy location, not your precise position, and uses it only for the weather request described below.
Drape asks for each permission the first time you use the feature that needs it. You can decline, and you can change your answer in Settings at any time.
Purchases
Drape is free for up to 30 items. Drape Pro is an optional subscription (monthly or yearly) sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells Drape whether your subscription is active. We do not receive your name, Apple ID, or payment details. Restore Purchases asks Apple to check your existing subscription; it does not send anything to us.
Third parties and network
Drape makes one kind of network request: a weather forecast from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute’s free weather service (MET Norway, api.met.no).
- The request contains coarse coordinates for your approximate location.
- Like any internet request, it also carries standard request data such as your IP address. MET Norway receives this under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Drape sends nothing else: no photos, no closet contents, no identifiers.
Drape contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or other third-party SDKs.
Children
Drape is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Since Drape collects no personal information, there is nothing for us to hold about a child either.
Your choices
- Delete any item, outfit or packing list inside the app.
- Delete the Drape app to erase everything it has stored on your iPhone. If you keep device backups, also remove Drape from those backups.
- Turn camera, photos or location access off in Settings › Drape.
- Cancel a subscription in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on our side. If you have a question, write to us.
Changes
If Drape’s handling of data changes, we will update this page and the effective date before the change ships. If a change means Drape would send something new off your phone, we will say so in the app first.
